Q: Thank you for providing these free wallpapers, you
are a prince among men. Could you inform me, please, of your copyright terms? More
directly, what are your regulations or thoughts on these images being used as wallpaper on
workstations in a large corporation?
We are looking for free
wallpaper for our folks to use, but are very cautious of copyrights and are checking our
resources. Thanks for any help you can provide.
A: We make but one modest request. Each wallpaper has an
Informative Band on the bottom. We've given it a wacky nick-name; we call it the
Informative Band. Besides being informative, this band contains a juicy plug to
bring people back to our home-page in search of more wallpaper. This provides us
with the opportunity to pounce upon them and offer to sell them land in the Ozarks.
The band is designed to be covered by the Windows Task Bar in it's normal "up"
mode (the Task Bar goes down, you know). It is, we regret to say, completely out of
sight on some laptops. We think you'll agree that this is a pretty laid-back
approach for a commercial company.
Anyway, after you download them,
these images are yours to do with as you see fit. Crop them, resize them, add or
delete anything you want. You can even draw a moustache on the Jack's Fork River and
repost it to your site. Just don't remove the Informative Band, or if you do,
display a credit to www.OzarkLand.com.
